After an early breakfast, we will drive to Lake Natron. The journey will take about 5 hours, then we will arrive in the afternoon for an afternoon game drive and visiting the waterfalls near the Lake. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Natron Tented Camp.
After early breakfast spend the morning visiting lake Natron. Lake Natron burns bright red, surrounded by the calcified remains of animals that were unfortunate enough to fall into the salty water.
Bats, swallows and more are chemically preserved in the pose in which they perished; deposits of sodium carbonate in the water (a chemical once used in Egyptian mummification) seal the creatures in their watery tomb. The lake's landscape is surreal and deadly and made even more bizarre by the fact that it's the place where nearly 75 percent of the world's lesser flamingos are born.
We will drive across the corridor of Masai mara until Serengeti Northern Area, called the Wagakuria. Enjoy the game drive en route and the afternoon game drive searching the migration of animals.
In the evening will go for Dinner and overnight at Mara Heritage camp.
After breakfast we will spend the morning around Mara river, its Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high in the Wagakuria area, with pride of lion up to 30 strong, however from August to October the area turns into a wildlife paradise. The key feature is the Mara River and it is not uncommon to see the herds cross the Mara River north on one day and then back south a few days later.
Please take note – to actually finding a crossing is very difficult and is sometimes a matter of luck. A herd can be seen next to the river and only decide to cross or not cross until a couple of days later. This area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation and open plains, similar to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve looking for animals crossing the river and the fantastic wildlife of this ecosystem
Meals & drinks: All meals included Drinking water
After breakfast enjoy a full day safari by river Mara. Great chances to observe the herds crossing the river. An amazing a thrilling spectacle full of crocodiles, lions, and herds of animals trying to cross to the other side. Will stop for picnic lunch in a beautiful setting.
In the evening we will drive to central Serengeti and check-in at our tented camp in central Serengeti Seronera, for dinner and overnight at Heritage Luxury Tented Camp.
Enjoy morning game drive in Serengeti and safari en route down to Serengeti Central. The central area of Serengeti is very rich in wildlife, The Big 5 of the African Savannah can be seen here.
We will arrive in the afternoon for a rest in your Lodge, beautifully located on a hill in Serengeti central plains
After early morning breakfast, we will drive to Ngorongoro conservation area. Descend over 600 meters into the crater to view the wildlife for a morning safari tour. Supported by year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.
Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s the dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.
After breakfast we will drive Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. Manyara Lake is famous for thousands of flaming birds around the lake. Not only that but also hippo, elephants, monkeys and if you are lucky tree climbing lions can be seen in this park. Game drives will be done till evening time when we will drive next to Tarangire Park for dinner and overnight at Olea Lodge.
The day starts with an early breakfast and then a morning wildlife drive in Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch inside the Park. Baobab trees, herds of elephant, lions and occasional leopards inhabit the riverine forest. After lunch we will continue our wildlife drive, then later in the evening we will drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at your hotel
